Taking Flight

from A$55.00

Traditional Method, Brut Rosé, Vintage 2013
Limited Release

A delicate light pink pinot noir chardonnay with an ultra-fine bead and a fresh bouquet of shortbread, almond meal and peach; complementing a palate of green apple, nectarine and pear. The finish is crisp and lingering. An exceptional vintage along with years of careful hand riddling make this a complex yet refined brut rosé.

The Real Review Recommended, 92/100 Four Star Rating (https://www.therealreview.com)

Light smoked-salmon to onion-skin colour which suggests age, and the bouquet is likewise, quite developed, and more about secondary characters than primary fruit. Smoky strawberry pinot inflexions. Milk chocolate also. It’s soft and rich and balanced on the palate, with a nice balance of acidity. Refinement and length. A very smart wine.
